The Member Lines of the FEFC wish to advise Shippers:-

Business Plan – Westbound Cargo 2007

Customers are reminded that as part of the Business Plan 2007, as announced on 3rd November 2006, for cargo moving from Asia (excluding Japan) to North Europe, Baltic/Scandinavia and Mediterranean, the following Conference rate increase is applicable: -

1st April 2007 – A Conference rate increase of USD 200 per TEU. Resulting Conference tariff rates are then valid until 30th June 2007

Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) – From Asia (excluding Japan) to North Europe/Baltic/Scandinavian and Mediterranean Areas
Further to their announcement dated 3rd November 2006 Member Lines of the FEFC wish to inform customers that the following PSS will apply:-

From Asia (excluding Japan) to North Europe/Baltic/Scandinavia
USD 135.00 per TEU for the period 1st August 2007 to 15th November 2007
From Asia (excluding Japan) to the Mediterranean
USD 135.00 per TEU for the period 1st June 2007 to 15th August 2007

High Cube Premium from Asia (excluding Japan) to North Europe/Baltic/Scandinavia and Mediterranean
Further to the announcement made on 3rd November 2006 Customers are reminded of the USD 250.00 High-Cube Premium effective from 1st January 2007.

North PRC 20’ Container Premium
Further to the FEFC notice dated 15th January 2007, FEFC Lines wish to announce their intention to increase the premium to USD 150.00 for cargo loaded at the following N.PRC ports with effect from 1st April 2007:-

Yantai, Lianyugang, Dalian, Qingdao and Tianjin/Xingang.

Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF)
To/From UK, North West Continent, Mediterranean and Scandinavia:
The BAF applicable for the month of April 2007 will be USD 247.00 per TEU/USD 12.35 W/M LCL
To/From the Baltic Sea Region:
The BAF applicable for the month of April 2007 will be USD 252.00 per TEU/USD 12.60 W/M LCL

Currency Adjustment Factor (CAF)
The CAF applicable for the month of April 2007 will be +9.3%
